Try an online printing service?

Hi Andrew,

I print photos for my family in Peru using an online printing bureau (Kodak in my case). They, like digitalmax.co.nz will take you photos, print them, and hold/post them to "you". I just give them the address I want them sent.

Works great even to get photos to my mum in Nelson, she picks them up from the local pharmacy (yes I'm cheap).

Try HP, Kodak, or any of the other US printing labs. Pick your favourite photo hosting site and look at their (inevitable) partners for printing.

My other suggestion, although they're still a bit expensive, is to buy a digital photo frame on ebay/amazon and post her a memory card. I'm going to do this for my mum (and in-laws) as soon as the prices become more reasonable -- a 1G card holds hundreds of photos and a 10 inch LCD screen with constantly rotating photos of your family provides hours of enjoyment for anyone (in the family).

The other advantage of the photo frame is that you can send new memory cards and rotate the old one although at $15 for 1G of SD it's getting cheaper to just buy a new one.

HTH,
Bruce
