Kaikouras over Clarence

This is a shot I took in the early morning (when it is actually safe to stand in the middle of the main road!), of the Kaikoura range with a light dusting of snow on the tops. Later in the year they get fairly well-covered at the top, but this is only mid-April. Clarence (the locality where I took this) is a large valley heading up into the mountains, but with only half a dozen houses for agricultural workers and the local white-water kayaking & rafting on the Clarence River.
