Bonmargy Friary

Bonmargy Friary

July 23, 2016
On our wanderings around northern Antrim last week, and after avoiding the crowds at Carrick-a-Rede, we found this ruin at Ballycastle which we had all to ourselves for an enjoyable half-hours scramble around. While we were there I had a thought about maybe why dressing up in a sheet is a ghost costume when I noticed the tombstone in the centre of this frame. What do you think? Is it ghostly? Thinking about ghosts, I took the boys to see Ghostbusters last night, which was lots of fun, with plenty of geeky references to the original which I saw oh-so-many-years-ago. The boys both very much enjoyed it as well - nothing incredible, just good fun entertainment. Antrim   Ghostbusters   ruins   cemetery
