The Barbican

Castle Street ends, as you would expect it to end in a story: crossing a bridge leading up to a barbican gate. Not just any gate though, but one of the best preserved gates I have seen anywhere. To the left, and to the right, forbidding walls stopped any access. I'd have knocked, but I don't believe there was anyone to hear. Glenarm   castle
