I was wandering in the west village, looking for an exceptional place to eat.  My searches ended pointing me to http://www.thelittleowlnyc.com/ where I had a fantastic culinary experience as well as enjoying the conversation with $RANDOM person who was stuck talking^Wnext to me. Unfortunately I failed at the tipping calculation at the end of the evening, so I probably won't be welcome back there unless someone else turns up and makes good on my failure. I do very much dislike the US system of tipping, but I do try and follow it (when in Rome, etc.) so if you're looking for a nice place to eat in the west village do, please, check out the Little Owl, and tip them an extra buck, to pay off my debt.  Thanks :-)
