Down the lane

I had to go down to Waterford on Thursday for a meeting, and it was a gorgeous drive down, with the sun gleaming goldenly through the dawn fog. Unfortunately there was no time to stop and capture it - motorways can be frustrating like that, with nowhere to stop.

On the way back time was not quite so constrained, and we had to get off the motorway to meet up with someone in Abbeyleix as well, so while we were on the way there I was looking at all the fall colours and saw something really interesting across the fields...

So we stopped, and I walked down this lane to go and get a closer view, and it was worth it just for the lane, really. I'll post the picture from the end of the lane tomorrow :-)
