SARS Heroes

I can't believe how hard it is to find the names of these seven people. I can find one or two (and zooming into the detail of this photo I can read a couple of them), but it's surprising that despite the existence of this Fighting SARS Memorial in Hong Kong Park, there is no easily discoverable (to me) list of the names of the people so memorialized.

The memorial stands to recognise those seven Hong Kong health-care workers who died in the SARS outbreak in 2003.  I expect that someday I will return to Hong Kong and will try and photograph each individual sculpture, because apart from the fact that I can't find the names, the memorial is also fairly unusual in that most of the people recognised by this are women. sculpture   women   hongkong   sars   memorial
