I got Heather a Samsung Galaxy 5" tablet for christmas this year and it's awesome

A nice size for fitting in any handbag, but also a good size for reading, and yet very much a fully-functional Android - just without the phone chipset. Apparently a lot of people want this device: http://androidandme.com/2012/01/devices/global-survey-says-70-of-consumers-want-a-device-like-the-samsung-galaxy-note/ After seeing one first-hand (and spending some finger time with it too) I can see why. Performance is basically identical to the Samsng Galaxy, but with no phone chipset and good battery-life. We picked it up at LV Martin on special for $249. I could photo the device, but that's boring - it just looks like a phone anyway. So here's the beautiful case Heather has crafted for it instead. No scale, but the Nexus One would fit in a 2x4 pattern of those squares.
