blossom, and I thought he's a nice mascot for the new DAViCal release as we slowly but surely creep towards a 1.0. Traditionally a 1.0 release is flaky and suspicious, but I'm hoping we can do the opposite of that. I've been developing DAViCal since 2005 and increasing numbers of people and institutions have been using it in production over the last four years. The latest release is the most stable and functional release yet, with only a few small feature points needed before it can be called 1.0, primarily around the draft scheduling extensions for CalDAV. So I expect the next release to come out in a couple more weeks, following that with a really stable "one point zero" release at the beginning of December.
