The Andes at Dawn

The rugged, snow-dusted mountains are bathed in a warm orange and pink light from the low sun. The sky above is a muted, dusky shade of greyish-purple, creating a soft, atmospheric landscape. The peak is perhaps Nevado Piquenes, taken in winter from the Argentinian side of the Andes at dawn from the road about 20 minutes south of Mendoza.
