Dublin Welcomes Us
I slept for 14 hours last night, after we finally got to our apartment - it was cold and rainy, and somehow the airport transfer wasn't informed that he was picking us up. Then the apartment included features like "curtain rails falling off roof", "dirty cutlery" and "temperature set to 45C". We managed to get cleaners and handymen and get it all fixed, but not the nicest way to spend your 25th wedding anniversary.
Today is much nicer. While it was raining at 7:30 when I went out to buy some breakfast things by 9:00am the sun was out and it definitely felt like spring. We went for a lovely walk and bought a few necessities. Still need to find salt & pepper though, which seem crazy to be missing from a serviced apartment.
