An interesting point of view on what happens when your education system is mostly run by a religious institution mired in the past.

Supposedly this is less of an issue for secondary schools in Ireland, though I know the school our kids are going to is very different to most Irish schools in one particular dimension and about 45% of the pupils there were not born in Ireland so perhaps there's a relationship there as well.
