Roman Temple in Viennes
A remarkably well-preserved roman temple in Viennes, apparently one of only two such surviving buildings in France. It's especially nice to find this kind of thing when you don't expect it at all! Our friend took us to Viennes for the museum, which was closed, and knew nothing of the variety of architecture in the city itself, so the walk was especially intriguing.
