Newgrange
The first thing I wonder, when I look at this, is whether there were any trees around here 5000-odd years ago when it was constructed. Seeing all this carefully manicured grass on the mound does make me wonder.
Supposedly people were burned before having their ashes installed in this, so I guess there were actually many trees in the area in those days.
