In my stream I seem to see a lot of "Trending on Google+" from various "Weight Loss" and "Health"

In my stream I seem to see a lot of "Trending on Google+" from various "Weight Loss" and "Health" communities or collections.

I'm not here for this kind of BS, so I'd really like to be able to get rid of it. It seems I can mute individual posts, but I'm not sure if that actually does anything.

Is there any way to mute or block the whole community (or collection) so that I never see this stuff in my stream?
