Noon in Portrane
The skies cleared this morning, and after we eventually rousted the grumbling boys out to see some sun we headed up the coast to Donabate. We had to put on our warm jackets and hats, but it was lovely to get out after several days of rain and overeating.
This was taken looking almost into the sun, which doesn't make it far above the horizon even at noon, after we turned around at Portrane to head back to the car.
The sea was having at least as much fun as we were, and the clouds only stayed away for half of the walk before everything turned grey again, although rain isn't forecast until tomorrow.
