I decided to delete my flickr account tonight. It has annoyed me for some time to think that my photos were being searched and found on there, but not associated with previous, next, or other images taken at the same event, and that I couldn't access them in order to categorise, tag, etc, etc.
It turned out there were a couple of thousand on there and I did consider just deleting that many each week, and doing a "Cheshire Cat" style disappearance, but I decided that would take more planning than I cared to do.
Now that I've got rid of them from flickr, I'll have to find somewhere else to put them, but in the meantime here's one of the more popular ones of +vint cerf during his keynote at lca2011 in Brisbane.
