Hi All! I'm originally from New Zealand, currently living in Dublin, Ireland, with my wife and two sons. This will be my 3rd hunt (in a row), but I was very distracted for the last one and only managed to submit four shots.
This is a photo a friend recently took on Howth Pier, while I was under the influence of the moon (or perhaps moonshine?) - definitely one of my more manic moments anyway.
G+ is pretty much the only place I have the time/inclination to get involved with on the internet - usually I'm much to busy making it bigger & faster to be contributing elsewhere. I do love to point my camera at things, but it's unusual for me to get carried away with manipulating the result too much although that might change a little for this hunt.
I use only free software for all of my work (and play), including how I process my photos which is done primarily with darktable, and I'm looking forward to spending a bit more effort this round with the new Gimp 2.10 release with it's vastly improved colour handling.
