Copper Coast

When we got up on Saturday there was almost some watery sunlight, and as we drove along the coast towards Tramore there were some great views of the sea smashing into the cliffs.

Here, a few kilometres east of Bunmahon there were some ruins of an old copper mine.  Across the road I felt quite safe walking out to the cliff-top because the wind was so strong it would have been quite difficult to fall off - or so it seemed.  Just getting near to the edge was hard enough.  So blustery that I rattled off a bunch of shots, figuring some of them would have camera shake no matter how hard I tried - not as bad as I expected, in the end, as there were a few crisp shots.

Afterwards I ran back to the car - wind-assisted, and a couple of hours later we were surrounded by wet - and by water charge protesters - and it remained very wet all the way back to Dublin.
