We're now (finally) properly moved into our new home.  This is true because the stereo is finally connected up.

Normally this would be the first action after moving but some things got left behind in the international version, including the wires to connect the amp to the speakers, necessitating a prolonged visit to Blanchardstown - a place we will very likely revisit from time to time since it has more variety than IKEA and is only a few minutes further away.

We're not totally finished, because the music server seems to have lost it's CMOS setup and it looks like I'll need a monitor and keyboard to boot it (or perhaps worse has happened, but hopefully not).

Also in Blanchardstown I found some magical TP-LINK TL-PA411 to provide point to point ethernet-over-power. These seem to be basically awesome, doing 500Mb/s after a setup that involves pressing a button. Very much a "shut up and take my €32" for them.  I haven't been able to fully analyse yet, but they seem to add about 3mS latency which seems OK.

Without access to my CD collection on the music server we've been having a strange day of listening to +Radio New Zealand at the time we would almost never hear it when we were living there.
