Apparently, if you're a gannet, this little rock near Muriwai Beach is approximately heaven.  Go figure.

Having now actually visited Muriwai Beach I do now have a much better understanding of what is behind all of those news reports I've heard over the years about "... drowned after a freak wave washed them off the rocks while fishing at Muriwai Beach" though.
