Violets
We took the "new" car for a spin today out to Powerscourt, an estate with extensive gardens in County Wicklow. It was a perfect spring day for wandering through gardens, and we managed to get there before all the tour buses arrived too.
Of course I took a gazillion photos, which I'll try and upload over the next few days, but here's a teaser to start. The gardens were absolutely stunning, and afterwards we went to the Powerscourt Waterfall (Ireland's tallest) and I got a reasonable picture of that, too.
We rounded off the day with a visit to a mall (Dundrum) because we really needed to get to a decent supermarket and stock up on all those cooking needs that you can't get at the corner store.
