Worn out today by the volume of Internet outcry that amounts to "keep your politics out of my fun!"

Haters, look. It's like this. From the perspective of the people whom your fun has been excluding for so long, you've been doing exactly the the thing you claim to despise. You've been ruining their fun with your politics. You just don't see your choices as political because you make them effortlessly.

Choosing to be apathetic or willfully ignorant about politics is a political choice, no matter how subconscious a level it takes place on. A piece of media with only straight white dudes in it is taking an explicitly political stance regarding representation.

You don't have to like that, but you shouldn't expect to be taken seriously if you deny it.
