Carrauntoohill and the Flesk River
Practically the only photo I have of the Ring of Kerry, since Heather was not keen ("it's all boring and touristy, and I really don't want to see it again", she tells me) and so we toured the Dingle Peninsula that day instead.
It was a holiday, so getting people out of bed and onto the road before 10:00am is hard, and the days are short, and Dingle was really much too far from where we were staying, so nobody enjoyed much of anything: not enough stops to walk around (and take photos).
Finally, at sunset, when we crossed this bridge I declared that I must stop and take this photo, so I pulled over and ran back to the start of the bridge and snapped some quick sunset shots.
We stopped at Ladies View as well, but it was almost full dark by then, and in any case the sun was behind us so it wouldn't have been much of a picture anyway.
Worth it for this one though, I think :-)
