Gotham
Wandering around the warren that is Google NYC I managed to discover a terrace looking downtown along 8th Avenue from the 11th floor. This is the weirdest building ever - I can only assume that Roald Dahl came up with the idea of the Great Glass Elevator after wandering around this kind of place!
Still, it's a pretty fantastic office to actually work in. By and large all of the meeting rooms are in the middle, and the working spaces are what get the natural light and the wonderful views over New York, which is as it should be.
Coming in from 'my' terrace I met a trio of intrepid italian interns, also exploring, and then I went down to the terrace on the 8th and sat and chatted with some more (american) interns until it was time for bed.
