I read something like this, and at the start it looks fairly legit: it appears to be the Harvard Business Review - possibly a reputable source of information.  It refers to "research" and has a pretty graph...

But then I read further and this appears to be some kind of "Guest" blog post, and the graph is sourced from "Target Training International Ltd". Then digging further to try and find the research it seems that I can't find it and perhaps it is unpublished and not peer reviewed.  There are certainy no links to any published research in the three articles on blogs.hbr.org by Bill Bonnstetter.

This appears to me to harm the (I would have thought) otherwise good name of the +Harvard Business Review.  Is there research? There are certainly interesting sounding statements, and numbers that sound like numbers that could have come from research, but from a quick hunt I certainly can't find any paper.  The author of the article does not appear to have a qualification in the research area, though the company he works for seems to be trading on the PhD and position that a relative holds.

Curious.
