Man, I sure wish The +GIMP offered me a "Do you mean 'export' option

Man, I sure wish The +GIMP offered me a "Do you mean 'export' option?" for every damn time I go "Save", navigate to the directory, select the file I want to overwrite and then it says:

  "You dickhead, you fucked up again. This dialog is only for
    people who want to use the .xcf format."

So I didn't have to close the dialog, switch to "Export" and redo all of that file and directory navigation.  Just having an "Oh yeah, sorry, my bad, I meant 'export' " button would really simplify my life and reduce my frustration with this particular UI change.
