Today's joinindaily with +Johnny Wills is "Pipes!"
These beautifully carved pipes can be seen at the Musée de la Pipe, du Diamant et du lapidaire in Saint-Claude, Jura.
We encountered this relatively by fluke, rather haphazardly driving from Zurich to Lyon but guessing that the Jura region looked kind of interesting, following whims until arriving out on the tip of this magnificent bluff looking down onto the town of Saint-Claude in the gorge far beneath us, so we descended the precipitous road down for a very late lunch, and a visit to the town's excellent museum.
Most restaurants in rural France will only serve lunch between noon and 2pm, but it was nearly 3 by the time we arrived into the town, so we were lucky to get anything at all that day.
