The Wondeful Barn in Leixlip
After yesterday's north-south excursions looking for somewhere to live, today we went to Phoenix Park and walked around for an hour or so, and then we drove out to Leixlip where there is this wonderful barn, sadly unloved it would seem. I would very much rather there had been someone there to take a couple of euro off me for the privilege to climb to the top.
Dating back to 1743 it was probably a granary, and it's construction may have served to keep the poor employed. More on wikipedia:
