Weir in Annecy

We left Lyon early this morning for the trip back to Ireland, but on the way to Geneva we did manage a stop in Annecy, and a walk around a town that is so utterly gorgeous that you have to forgive it it's tourist persona.

The streams flowing out of the lake and through the town are very effectively rate limited by the many weirs, of which this was one of the more beautiful, demonstrating the gorgeous colours of the water in the sunlight.
