Amsterdam Canal by Night
On Tuesday night in Amsterdam I discovered that a tripod is not needed for night photography of the canals. The locals have provided large numbers of bicycles, the seat of which provides an excellent place to rest the camera for long exposure shots such as this. What excellent folk!
Amsterdam is such a pretty city - possibly because we were amazingly lucky with the weather - everywhere I looked there were large and small details I wanted to photograph. Eventually I filled my first SD card and had to move on to my backup, so it will take me a while to process them all and maybe you shall all see Amsterdam pictures for the next week or two - or at least until I get sick of posting them!
