Having a play to see what the state of HDR on Linux is like this evening

Having a play to see what the state of HDR on Linux is like this evening. I quite liked what the Mantiuk algorithm did here to my shot of the entrance to Porirua Harbour, but there was a fair amount of fiddling around in getting this.

Can anyone recommend anything better than qtpfsgui for creating these?
