We went for a gentle walk this morning around the Pauatahanui Wetlands and were lucky to catch a parent & juvenile fantail around the path. I don't think I've ever managed to get a decent photo of a fantail before, but these seem to have come out pretty well.
G+ has also "auto awesomed" the juvenile shots, but I think that doesn't work so well in this case though it isn't possible to disable it other than globally.
