"Take two aspirin and call me in the morning..." would be nice, but it seems when you're on chemotherapy the slightest little earache is cause for "drop everything and go to the Hospital Emergency Department right now."
Just got back, after three hours of waiting and watching, and eventually seeing Heather wheeled off into a ward for the night.
