Seattle Public Library
One of the most important buildings in Seattle, providing free warmth and education for all. After taking this photo from the overlook at the top I spiralled down to the foyer below, chatting with homeless folk who I gather regularly use this as a refuge from the outdoors. There seemed to be a quite a few, but I guess there are in most big cities, and I really can't imagine a better place for them to hang out.
I had a great walk around on saturday (8h 26m of walking!) and lots of photos, so I'll probably post a few more Seattle shots during the week while I'm busy working in the Bay Area - generally the bay area seems a lot less photogenic...
