The Troll
I guess many of us - me included - have a fascination with bridges. I think it's wonderful that the George Washington bridge in Seattle has a troll underneath. In fact it actually has a road underneath, from down by the shore of Lake Union, all the way up to this point which is appropriately called "Troll Avenue".
It probably also says something that all the adults here are photographing the troll, and all the kids are climbing over it. I guess I'd like to say that I climbed over it too, but the thought didn't make it that far past the rational parts of my brain - if anything I went in the other direction: photographing the photographers. Stepping back, and re-viewing the world rather than participating. Observing.
