I really wish that whoever-it-is who designs all of these cheap tablets that are available from China would get their brain around the idea that compass, GPS & bluetooth are more important than an HDMI output.
These things look like there is actually possibly only one person in China who designs them, and who then employs strong-arm tactics to force all manufacturers to standardise on it. Quite possibly anyone who tries to put more than 512M of RAM in their tablet will be lined up against the wall and shot. It's the only rationale I can come up with.
Also: I would kill for a zero insertion force docking connector as standard.
