Today we got rain. Enough to moisten the garden a little, but I doubt that it will have been enough for people to call an end to the drought. It's supposed to rain more over the coming three days too. Perhaps now that the ground is not completely parched some heavier rain will be better able to soak in.
Managed to catch this out the window in late afternoon though.
