Time was...
... when these things turned up in the most unexpected places. I photographed this one outside the Marakoopa Cave in Tasmania back in 2009. It really is quite a long way out in the wilderness. Telstra had managed to run a line there nonetheless - probably while they were state-owned and proud of things other than profits.
I'll be posting photos to this collection when I am in some country other than Ireland or New Zealand, and I think I shall probably post a photo here every week or so, when I go back through my historical travels.
