Back in 2008, just before I left Catalyst, I spent some serious thinking time travelling across South America to get to DebConf in Mar del Plata, and it started with a couple of days in Valparaíso.

Today, I was decommissioning a server that I really should have dealt to a couple of years ago and I found that I had uploaded all of the camera raw from my first couple of days (before my travel got too hectic, or the wifi too useless, I guess).

This is great, because until today I didn't think I had any raw files at all from that trip.  No idea how I'd missed them, but it's a nice surprise.  Here's a couple of shots of one of the "ascensors" that are so scary and spartan, and yet so effective.
