Just booked a ticket for my Mum to come down to Wellington for an old family friend's funeral on Monday and when I looked at forwarding her the booking e-mail I decided it was just too confusing. So I edited it down to the "bare essentials" (you'd think +Air New Zealand would have done that already :-) and while I was parsing the overly complicated and verbose e-ticket legalese, I noticed this wee gem:
"In addition, each passenger may carry one small personal item per passenger may also be carried on board, such as a handbag, slimline laptop or duty free goods (where permitted)."
Does that mean if we're travelling as a group of five, we can each carry five items - one for each of us...?
