[edit] and for the personal anecdote side, Mrs. Geek's reaction to this was "Hospitalized workers can still be productive workers." She's still cranky about that boss who wanted her to bring my work laptop into the hospital so I could get some work done while recovering from my suicide attempt. Yeah. That was not my favorite job.
