Wellington, 1990
Roving through my photo collection today, I came across this directory of images that I got printed onto a PhotoCD back when they were the new shiny around 1993 (well, the files are all dated Dec 1993).
This shot of Wellington must have been around 1989 or 1990, due to the half-finished construction of the Majestic Centre which was finished in 1991. Lots of other fun details for people to find too, I guess. I expect this was taken from the lookout by the carpark for the restaurant at the top of the cable car - not from the lookout by the cable car itself.
I was surprised how much detail is available here - not quite up to what the D800 can do, but the Nikon F801 with Nikkor 28-105 lens was a good combination in it's day.
