After a long drive today to the Maryhill Art Museum (excellent!), on the way back towards Portland we crossed Bridge of the Gods to get back onto I-84, but then right instead of left. After driving for about 10 miles past choked up traffic we decided to go right around Mt. Hood.... which meant I managed to get this gorgeous shot in the late afternoon light. Through the car window, at 55mph!
