Koha is an open source Integrated Library System (ILS), used world-wide by public, school and special libraries. The name koha comes from a Māori term for a gift or donation. Koha is Open Source, released under GPL, and has been in active, continual development since 1999.

Now, a US corporation has been provisionally granted a trademark on the name in New Zealand (the home of Koha). The Horowhenua Library Trust is a tiny trust and needs help to mount a legal challenge to prevent losing the rights to the Koha name. Please help if you can.
