The Servants Entrance
The servants entrance at Newbridge House is also the entrance to the gift shop and where you can sign up for a tour, or to get access to the farm. The tour which we did today was very interesting, but alas they don't allow photos inside. We didn't go into the farm, but it did seem very popular for those with younger children.
This entrance is also much more photogenic than the main entrance to the house, which is a kind of forbidding door in the middle of a flat georgian facade.
The building & lands are now owned by the Fingal County, although in order to have furnishings inside there is an agreement that the original owners are allowed the use an upstairs apartment for some part of the year.
