Queues
On second thoughts, let's not go to Carrick-a-Rede today we said, as we arrived at a completely full carpark. We drove on towards Ballycastle and found a lookout at the top of the hill where we could get a good (if distant) view. I'm pretty pleased not to have wasted our time queueing for tickets, in order to queue to walk across the rope bridge, in order to queue to get back.
Instead we went on to Ballycastle where we had a walk around the harbourfront park, and found an old ruined Friary five minutes further up the road that we had all to ourselves, and which we happily clambered over for half an hour before heading back to our digs for the evening.
