Dawn on North Bull Island
While we're still jet-lagged we're taking advantage of the early rising opportunities. This morning we headed out a bit before dawn (a.k.a. 8:00am - still early for a Saturday) to follow the coast up to Howth & Malahide. Just before the sun came up I was looking around for where I could take a nice photo of the sunrise and we came to North Bull Island which let me compose this one with the bathing shelter in the foreground. The soft light was also a perfect opportunity to use my 14mm lens.
The weather stayed good all morning while we wandered around on the Howth Peninsula and then it just started to splatter down as we drove on toward Malahide where we visited the castle and then had lunch in the town.
