The Burren
Another shot from friday's tour of Clare, this one is in the opposite direction from the one of the churchyard I posted the other day, looking across a small inlet near Bealaclugga to the relatively bare rock of The Burren and nicely shows the contrast between the low-lying fields and the bare rock higher up.
Of course that bare rock still has enough growing on it for people to decide they need to fence it, but I guess a fence made from piling rocks up is going to be little more than labour cost in this area.
